Eggs Range in thickness/size and in color.

Ostrich eggs are quite thick, and are compared commonly to the thickness of a nickel. This can range depending on how the birds are fed, as with all eggs.
Emu Eggs can be very smooth in texture or very bumpy. And the colors can vary greatly in individual eggs
Turkey Eggs, Quail Eggs, Peacock, and some other smaller birds' eggs have a mottled or dappled design on top of the base color.  This can be removed with little effort, but I prefer to keep that color and texture.
Duck Eggs have a very smooth and almost translucent appearance which makes them lovely for decorating or for carving They can also range in color.
